Job Description & Responsibilities:
  • Works collaboratively with other PV engineers in team to ensure hardware product meets all customer requirements and compliance obligations.
  • Interacts with design and sustaining engineering groups regarding project specifications, test plans and strategies, project status, timelines, validations and test results.
  • Interacts daily with the managers and fellow engineers regarding testing, schedules and reports.
  • Assists in developing test methods, procedures and technology.
  • Provides input and manages ambiguities in test plans.
  • Keeps track of test project milestones in various design stages. Prepares, reviews and executes test activities to ensure the scheduled test events are performed.
  • Perform first article inspection and test as required.
  • Organizes test reports. Checks to make sure all the tests action, data, report and recommendation required by the internal client have been performed and performed correctly.
  • Manages test item inventory which owned by, and for, product validation.
  • Reports and tracks bugs related to product validation.
  • Manages test plan technical writing and documentation.
  • Assists in managing the test facility, equipments and instrumentation in product validation lab.
  • Minimum traveling to other office and external test lab might be required.
  • This position may perform other duties as assigned.


Knowledge and Skills:
  • Familiar with compliance standard to assist compliance engineers.
  • Strong knowledge and hands on experience in test, measurement and signal acquisition.
  • Knowledge of xDSL, 802.11x, HPNA, Ethernet and telephony interfaces and respective test approach.
  • Familiar with networking communication protocols.
  • Strong test plan and report technical writing skills.


Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree in electronics engineering, or equivalent in terms of education, training and experience.
  • 3 years directly related experience with a minimum of 5 years total experience.
  • Experience in low level network testing, such as RF signal measurement, power supply, ring load, electrical measurement [to assist the develop engineers.
  • Experience managing data and statistical reports utilizing a variety of spreadsheet and other computer software.
  • Demonstrated experience with network product compliance standards is a plus.
