Job Description:
Business Plan Management
-Assists Associate in Charge in the development and implementation of business plans. Ensures that the business unit meets or exceeds the business plan.
Financial Management
-Manages financial aspects of business unit operations.
Project Management
-Coaches staff and holds them accountable for ensuring that all projects undertaken in business unit adhere to WSA standards for project management meet customer expectations for quality and timely delivery, and maintain profitability targets.
New Business Development/Marketing
. Works with project managers and other firm professionals to obtain sufficient profitable contracts to achieve business unit's margin goals.
Client Management
-Ensures that project managers adhere to WSA standards or
client preferences, requirements, standards and procedures if equivalent.
Develops and manages staff to meet business objectives
. Conducts regular project manager meetings for business unit in order to share technical, project and client management experience.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, planning, economics, or related area and a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in Planning, Environment, and CSS, seven of which must be in a relevant management position. Must be knowledgeable of current planning techniques, including NEPA and CSS. Must be licensed and/or certified.
