Job Description:
Dendreon is seeking a Senior IT Systems Analyst to lead & implement enterprise solutions using EMC Documentum or another EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) technology solution. The successful candidate will coordinate efforts with a system lifecycle project team, and have the opportunity to work with new technology at a company that is quickly expanding.
General Summary:
Leads the technical analysis of electronic EDMS solutions used to solve complex business problems related to research, product development, manufacturing, quality and/or administrative/business efforts. This may include one or more of the following activities:
Technical & design leadership on EDMS products and ensures excellence of systems architecture in development of content management solutions.
Architectural design reviews & recommendations.
Synthesizes analyses, identifies root causes & develop/recommends technical solutions.
Plans and implements technical infrastructure.
Technical solution scoping and proposal development.
Client/project management on smaller projects; generates high-quality project documentation, such as project plans, design documents, or test plans.
Leads and participates in application customizations & technical implementations using structured techniques.
Communicates status of assignments accurately to project & delivery management.
Provides consultation to users of the EDMS solution.
Performs technical assessments for both change and release management efforts.
Contributes to decisions on policies, procedures, expansion strategies and product evaluations.
Shares knowledge with other programmers, systems administrators and business analysts.
Represents department in cross-functional teams.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent.
Typically 5 years related experience.
Prefer solid technical foundation in EMC/Documentum installation & configuration.
Prefer successful experience scaling Documentum products for enterprise utilization.
Documentum 6 platform. Documentum 6.5 platform preferred.
