Job Description:
Dendreon is seeking a Senior Shop Floor Coordinator – Alternate Shift to monitor and recommend adjustments to the daily plant schedule. This position is eligible for differential pay and will most likely work 1:30 am – 11:30 am. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, work independently and have the ability to make decisions and gain consensus.
General Summary:
Ensures schedule adherence and recommends alternatives to scheduling exceptions.
Monitors process and shipping and receiving to meet agreed upon schedule.
Coordinates with Quality Assurance, Facilities, and Quality Control to ensure timely batch release.
Receives requests for future activities which may impact finite schedule.
Monitors schedule via computer terminals and adjusts as needed.
Provides communication to affected departments of schedule changes in a timely fashion.
Communicates to adjacent shifts changes and events which may affect finite schedule.
Provides guidance to one or more Shop Floor Coordinators.
Job Specifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent experience in a scheduling environment.
Typically 1 year related experience; experience with GMP in a bio-medical environment preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Required to work alternate shifts.
