Job Description:
Dendreon is seeking a Senior Plant Scheduler, who will be responsible for scheduling activities in support of the operational execution of production orders at the New Jersey plant. The Senior Scheduler will manage business processes with state-of-the-art goal optimization and finite scheduling tools. The successful candidate should have proven leadership skills and strong analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities.
General Summary:
Manages day-to-day activities required to support the production schedule at the NJ plant and work with corporate scheduling in Seattle to resolve scheduling exceptions that occur prior to, during and after all manufacturing processes.
Facilitates effective working relationships with shop floor management and plant operations staff to ensure the delivery of final product within process constraints.
Maintains the master data integrity of the scheduling system in support of corporate goals and objectives.
Provides Dendreon’s executive leadership with business intelligence and reports for key business performance indicators relating to manufacturing process execution of production orders.
Assists in developing SOPs, work instructions and business procedures required to support the business processes.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.
Typically a minimum of 5 years related experience in Production Planning, Plant Scheduling, and Shop Floor Management with cGMP manufacturing environment experience preferred.
3-5 years experience with finite scheduling systems (ILOG, I2, JDA) in a medium to high volume discrete order process manufacturing environment.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
This position may require working during the night shift.
