Job Description:
Dendreon is seeking a Senior IT Systems Analyst to create specifications for Finance and Accounting requirements and configure Oracle EBS Financials. The successful candidate will coordinate efforts with system lifecycle project team, and have the opportunity to work with new technology at a company that is quickly expanding.
General Summary:
Leads the analysis of electronic systems that solve complex business problems, supporting research, development, engineering and/or administrative/business efforts. This may include one or more of the following activities:
Identifies, evaluates and configures systems and procedures that achieve business objectives.
Creates specifications that meet user requirements.
Plans and supports unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Reviews application performance, makes recommendations for improvement, and leads implementation of solutions.
Provides consultation to users of electronic systems.
Contributes to decisions on policies, procedures, expansion strategies and product evaluations.
Performs technical assessments for both change and release management efforts.
Contributes to decisions on policies, procedures, expansion strategies and product evaluations.
Shares knowledge with other programmers, systems administrators and business analysts.
Represents department in cross-functional teams.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent.
Typically a minimum of 5 years related experience.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite 11.5.10 Financials, iProcurement and Hyperion software preferred.
Familiarity with SOX regulatory requirements preferred.
