Job Description:
Dendreon is seeking skilled IT Systems Administrator’s of various levels to perform administration of its Enterprise data systems. The successful candidates will be a highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational, conceptual, communication, and technical problem-solving skills. Duties include managing AD users, permissions, Exchange accounts, and select enterprise applications. Deploying and upgrading software and hardware as required as well as managing the data backup and recovery platform. Provide regular support and guidance to end users and mentoring to peers.
General Summary:
Administers server-based software applications, databases and operating systems, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and service level agreements.
Implements system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
Administers and maintains end user accounts, permissions and access rights.
Develops and maintains appropriate documentation of system-supporting process and procedures.
Manages Cisco IP Telephony call manager and Unity VM server.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or technical discipline or equivalent.
Typically a minimum of 3 years related experience in an IT operations environment using ITIL methods and a variety of technical programs.
Proficient in MS Office applications, Windows AD, Blackberry Enterprise Server and group policy management.
Experience with scripting and process automation using PowerShell and Visual Basic.
Experience with Exchange and SQL management and Oracle eBuisiness Suite.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Some on-call hours may be required.
